After Sales Service

Quality, price, and service are three critical factors for the success of any device. After sales service should be an integral part of any company's strategy. Properly handled, after sales service can be a foundation for growth. Ignored or left to chance, it can cause marketing efforts to fail.
Service is the prompt repair or replacement of the device, cost effective maintenance and the process of managing service partners.

After sales service varies with the product type, the quality of the product, the price of the product, and the distribution channel employed. The processes should be then optimized to fit each type of product. Each market has its own expectations; the service process should be adapted to its peculiarities. This level of performance is an important determinant in ensuring a reasonable competitive position, given the other factors of product quality, price, promotion, and delivery.

Not providing after-sale service may work in the short term, but subsequent product offerings will be less successful as buyers will recall the default on providing expected levels of service. As a result, market development and sales expenditures may lead to one-time sales.
